Hi
For those who I normally meet up with at the big M Meir Park. I wont be there this time as Cindy flies out sunday morning so as you can understand I will want to spend that little bit more time with her before she goes. Will go direct to the Britannia from home. Cheers

Another great run. Should be interesting to hear the final totals IE number of bikes, money raised.
Waiting to hear from the cameraman about the video shot from Growlers pillion seat.
Thanks to a duff disc Growlers video camera only got about two minutes of the start before the disc claimed to be full
And of course with the spare discs locked in one of the panniers and no chance of stopping to do a swap nothing could be done about it. It would have been to risky to have got the camera man to unlock the pannier and try doing a swap on the run.
My only moan about the run was the "cut ins" who made my job of getting around safe a task. Growler is a big machine and when in fancy dress my side vision can be reduced.
To then add to that folks weaving around me which I have to make sure I dont wipe out whilst negotiating park vehicles etc gave me quite a headache literally yesterday.

It was a great turn out indeed. Some of the big machines do take quite some space and at time it felt a bit crowded, especially in some of the bottle neck.
I look forward to hearing of numbers.
Well done to all the organisers as always
