1st Toy Run
Pictures from the 1st ever Toy Run held on December 18th 1978 - Hanley Forest Park to Penkhull Homes (St Christophers Avenue). Jointly Organised by the Star Bikers Club & the Stoke Harley Riders who originally conceived the idea to hold a run, when both clubs used to meet at the Star Inn on Marsh Street, Hanley (now the Star Hotel). It was not only the 1st event of it’s kind in Stoke on Trent, but it was the 1st ever held in the UK.
